The third edition of Rob Riemen's book The Nobility of Spirit. A forgotten ideal has been published. After the great success of the 2010 and 2016 editions, a new edition of this global hit is now available in Croatian.

Rob Riemen, founder and director of the prominent Nexus Institute, which brings together prominent intellectuals from around the world, holding discussions on the essential issues facing man today, has written a book urging the intellectual elite to move away from postmodernism and the blazed attitude.

In November 1943, Italian-Jewish publisher and humanist Leone Ginzburg of Rome State Prison wrote a letter to his young wife, Natalia. A few days earlier, he had been arrested by the Nazis for his involvement in a newspaper collaborating with the resistance movement. Ginzburg ends the letter with the words „Be brave“, and despite torture and fear for his own fate, he himself tries to remain equally, socraticly brave. This letter will also be the last sign of him alive. Ginzburg had to pay with his life for the fight against fascism, and his life, in the service of humanism and the European ideal of civilization, is a worthy example of what Rob Riemen calls „the nobility of the spirit“.

Based on impressive conversations and stories, Riemen leads us from Socrates and Spinoza to Nietzsche, Thomas Mann and other great thinkers, while passionately and very convincingly advocating classical humanistic values, contained in encouraging the development of the human soul, in constant search for truth, courage to be wise ourselves. The book Nobility of Spirit is a small masterpiece, a handbook for intellectuals in these turbulent times, as well as an invitation to a truly unique walk through global literature. It is an indispensable book for readers in search of wisdom and answers to the great questions of today, that are actually as old as man himself.
