Slobodan Šnajder won the tportal literary award

The novel by Slobodan Šnajder "The Age of Brass" was awarded the tportal literary prizze as the best novel in the Croatian language, published by a Croatian publisher in 2015. The decision on this year's winner of the roman@tportal.hr award was issued by a jury consisting of literary critic and publicist Katarina Luketić as president, a translator Ursula Burger, theater director Ivica Buljan and writers and critics Jadranka Pintarić and Miroslav Mićanović, who were given the task to choose between more than 56 titles, issued in the last year. "The age of Brass" is absolutely the most awarded book of the season, not only in Croatia but also in the region.
