Slobodan Šnajder awarded with Nagrada Radomir Konstantinović

On 27th of October, in the ceremonial hall of the City Library in Subotica, the prize named after a great philosopher and linguist Radomir Konstantinović was awarded for the first time. It was awarded to philosopher Milorad Belančić for his work "We and then Us" and to Slobodan Šnajder for his novel "The Age of Brass" by Serbian historian Latinka Perović. Professor of the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad and jury member Gojko Tešić, Ph.D. said that they opted for two authors who inherit the Konstantinović tradition. "They go beyond local and national frameworks and belong to what is a kind of European character in the cultures in which they create."
