Presentation of the book „Eternal fascism“

Dear readers, yesterday, in the hall of Cultural Society „Miroslav Shalom Freiberger“ we presented Umberto Eco's book Eternal fascism. The book was introduced by prof. dr. sc. Žarko Puhovski and excerpts from the book were read by Mrs Mira Altarac.

After a comprehensive and interesting lecture in which prof. dr. sc. Puhovski, among other things, criticized the synchronous view of the notion of „ur-fascism“ and fascism itself, arguing that „ur-fascism“ did not and could not have originated before fascism but after it, he concluded that some elements of fascism will always be visible in some political structures, but the chance of them blooming into political fascism in the true sense of the word is minor.
