NEW TITLE - "RAZDUŽIVANJE"

We present a new title: the diary of Željko Stipić, the first book of its kind penned by a Croatian trade unionist! From September 2023 to June 2024, Željko Stipić—who has led the Preporod education union for two decades, recorded daily events unfolding around him and within him. What began as a log of preparations for a union assembly in Lovran evolved into a chronicle of one of the most turbulent periods in the history of the Croatian trade union movement. It was a time marked by the struggle against the Law on Salaries and the introduction of performance evaluations, a solitary resistance that grew into an alliance with other unions—as well as a period of protests, petitions, and legal challenges brought before the Constitutional Court.
