Josip Kregar died

Josip Kregar, a full professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb and a former member of parliament, passed away this morning in Zagreb at his home at the age of 67.
Born on January 1, 1953 in Ogulin, he graduated in 1976 from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, where he received his doctorate and taught sociology and sociology of law. He has been the head of the Department of Sociology since 1999. He was elected full professor in 2001. In two terms from 2005 to 2009, he was the Dean of the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and a member of the Rector's Board.

He is the author and co-author of over a hundred published scientific papers and books, as well as several books of political essays, a number of laws and the National Anti-Corruption Program (2001 and 2006), as well as public administration reform strategies (2002).
