Third meeting in Pločnik: „Authors – up close and personal“

On Tuesday, November 15, the third and last meeting this year was held in Pločnik as part of the Rhythm&Book program, called „Authors – up close and personal“. Our guest, journalist Branimir Pofuk, talked with Vlatka Kolarović about meetings and conversations with authors, emphasized that a special kind of friendships can be born from such conversations, and expressed his regret that he did not have the opportunity to meet Luan Starova in person. They also discussed the topic of the position of intellectuals in the past and now, stressing the importance of the fact that, if an intellectual cannot write or act publicly, he must read as much as possible. Also, in the discussion about Luan Starova's novels, especially The Border, they also mentioned the issue of borders, both visible and invisible.

Thank you for being with us and we hope to see you next year at the same place!

We hosted this program with the support of the Culture Office of the City of Zagreb.
