Rhythm&Book: On the masters of Macedonian short prose with Ivica Baković

Rhythm&Book: On the masters of Macedonian short prose with Ivica Baković

Last night, in the intimate atmosphere of the Regular bar, with the rhythms of DJ and producer Plazmatick, we held the first meeting within the Rhythm&Book project after the summer break! The guest of the fourth meeting was Ivica Baković, head of the Department of Macedonian Language and Literature at FFZG, who together with Vlatka Kolarović, through the books Ship Skopje by Vlada Urošević, Dandelion Season by Blaže Minevski and The Taming of the Bitch by Venko Andonovski, introduced us to truly great Macedonian literature and expressed the hope that the number of translations into Croatian will increase in the coming years (and we are working wholeheartedly on this).

We schedule the next meeting for October 29 at the same place, at the same time! For more details about the program and participants of this year's last Rhythm&Book, follow our website and social networks.

The Rhythm&Book program is held with the support of the Culture Office of the City of Zagreb.
