Presentation of Dražen Lalić's book in Makarska and Vela Luka

TIM press is pleased to invite you to the presentation of the book Two Houses Above the Sea. Cultural Memory of Dalmatian Families and a conversation with the author, Dražen Lalić. The presentation and conversation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Apfel Arena in Makarska, Put Volicije 5, starting at 6:00 PM. In addition to the author, the book will be discussed by prof. dr. sc. Aleksandar Jakir, historian, prof. emer. dr. sc. Vedrana Spajić-Vrkaš, pedagogue and anthropologist, and the book editor Hašim Bahtijari.

The book presentation on Korčula, in cooperation with the „Lanterna“ Association, will be held the following day, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Hotel Korkyra in Vela Luka, Obala 3, no. 21, starting at 5:00 PM In addition to the author, Tonko Barčot, historian and president of the „Lanterna“ Association, and dr. sc. Dragan Markovina, historian and publicist, and book editor Hašim Bahtijari will speak about the book.
