Overview of the book „Civilization“ in Novi list

On September 29, an extensive presentation of the book Civilization. How we all became Americans by author Régis Debray was published in Novi list. In his detailed analysis of this „excellent and seductive“ book, Jaroslav Pecnik cites interesting details from Debray's life, and writes that Debray, through his erudition, irony, bravura analyzes, and his broad encyclopedic knowledge and provocative theses and attitudes, clearly and openly speaks of our civilization and all the changes it goes through quickly and seemingly effortlessly, but in fact, painfully.
