On the Wings of Science in Pločnik

On Tuesday, October 25, in Pločnik, we hosted the second get-together as part of the Rhythm&Book program, entitled „On the Wings of Science“. University professor Anita Peti-Stantić and Vlatka Kolarović discussed why it is important to popularize science and encourage reading among the younger population, and the professor shared several anecdotes from her student days. She also revealed to us why she particularly likes the title of Rovelli's book On Butterfly Wings – in her opinion, science must be just like that, light, lively, comprehensible and open to questioning – just as many scientific theories have been disproved to some extent in the past, so will be in the future as well, but only if we continue to question science and push the boundaries.

Our last meeting of the year is scheduled for November 15, at the same place, at the same time. See you!
