"Lying in politics is an inevitable fact"

The well-known Norwegian philosopher Lars Svendsen gave an interview to Branimir Pofuk for Večernji list, announcing his visit to Zagreb. In the conversation, he presented his new book, Philosophy of Lying, explained the role of lies in politics and stressed the importance of trust, which is perhaps the key to his country's success: „You don't need a lot of lawyers, contracts and guarantees to do anything. Of course, you are deceived here and there, but it is a price worth paying.“
