„Identity“ in Globus

An extensive review of Fukuyama’s book Identity. The Demand for Dignity and the Politics of Resentment was published in Globus on November 23rd. The author of the review, Viktor Vresnik, writes about how Fukuyama's discussion on identity is a kind of an excuse for his very popular but often misunderstood book The End of History and the Last Man.

„The discussion about the end of history was academic, and therefore suitable as an intellectual dessert for the spoiled elite, and in fact quite crude financial practitioners. Today’s debate about identity is packed with disturbing details. The great period of correctness hardly allows provocations (...) [and] it reveals to us how much we have lost from that identity due to the imposed model of correctness“, writes Vresnik.
