Dear readers, on February 25th, an excerpt from the book The Nazi Doctors. Medical Killing and the Psychology of Genocide by Robert Jay Lifton, which we published in 2015, was published in Nacional's „Feljton“ . In this shocking two-volume book, Lifton, an American psychiatrist and Holocaust researcher, describes how the Nazis led by Joseph Mengele killed prisoners at Auschwitz, a death camp, but also the psychological adjustments people go through in extreme war.
