Anita Peti-Stantić: The Rovelli phenomenon

Our reviewer and popularizer not only of Rovelli's books, but also of reading popular scientific literature in general, college professor Anita Peti-Stantić, for the portal Moderna vremena wrote a review of the two latest books of this great Italian physicist and addressed the question of why we should read scientific literature even if we are not scientists. From her article, we extract a piece of admiration for Rovelli as an author:

„In a world where bad news often seems to prevail, it is interesting that it is Rovelli, a physicist, who brings good news. Namely, he destroys and builds worlds, both the worlds we are used to in the history of science, and those we are used to in stereotypical thinking, but he does it without teaching, amazed like a child who discovers something new... Rovelli, with his clear and convincing argumentation, with his simple style and selection of relevant topics, lends a helping hand in thinking to every interested reader, repeatedly emphasizing the importance of accepting differences, the right to make mistakes and the importance of understanding and communication. Or, as the author himself says: To understand the world, courage is needed.“
