„A very unusual book“

On February 8, Miljenko Jergović wrote about the novel Idiss by Robert Badinter in the „Literary recommendation“ section of the vecernji.hr portal. Jergović states that this is a very unusual book, taking into account Badinter's education and social activity, but only at first glance. This book actually suggests why its author practiced law and why he became Robert Badinter, a figure important to our and neighboring nations, to whom the phrase „Badinter Commission opinion“ will sound familiar.
