Marina Kokanović

Marina Kokanović has been active on the Croatian trade union scene since 1987 in various trade union and women's initiatives. Until 2001, she was an economic advisor in the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Croatia. In the spring of 2001, she moved to New Zealand where she continued her union engagement, but this time as a financial manager. She has published papers, research and studies on the economic and social situation in Croatia and on the position of women in the labor market in both domestic and foreign publications. As an advisor, she actively participates in collective bargaining, writes, teaches and leads workshops on the topic of collective bargaining.
