Rhythm&Book – „When history becomes personal“ with Tvrtko Jakovina

Rhythm&Book – „When history becomes personal“ with Tvrtko Jakovina

The Rhythm&Book program returns this year with new gatherings that bring together literature, conversation, and pleasant rhythms. We are opening the season with an event titled „When History Becomes Personal“ with Tvrtko Jakovina, which will take place on March 25 from 6 to 8 PM at Crni Mačak.

At the first gathering, we will discuss the books Putzi, The Client, and The Traveler. Through themes of history, personal destinies, and literary interpretation, the discussion will be guided by historian Tvrtko Jakovina and Vlatka Kolarović. Together, we will explore how major historical narratives become intimate and personal, and how literature opens space for new understandings of the past and the present.

If you love books, engaging conversations, and a relaxed atmosphere, join us for another evening dedicated to reading, reflection, and the exchange of ideas.

See you at Crni Mačak!

The Ritam&Knjiga program is supported by the City Office for Culture and Civil Society.
