Rhythm&Book: Northern philosophies with Lars Svendsen

Rhythm&Book: Northern philosophies with Lars Svendsen

Last night at the Regular bar, there was a high demand for a seat! The guest appearance of one of today's most translated philosophers, Lars Svendsen, aroused great interest from the public, who did not care about bad weather. With plazmatik's music and always great moderation by Vlatka Kolarović, we learned more from Svendsen, among other things, about how he chooses the topics to write about, what kind of music he listens to while writing (it is interesting that the writing of Philosophy of Evil was accompanied by slow jazz), what is his biggest fear and do dogs have the ability to hope.

The last opportunity this year to spend time with this nice Norwegian will be tomorrow, April 24 at 6 pm at the FFZG, in Hall 1, where he will hold a lecture „A Philosophy of Hope“.

We are scheduling the next meeting for the end of May, and for accurate information about the date and participants, follow the notifications on our Facebook, Instagram or www.tim-press.hr!

The Rhythm&Book program is held with the support of the Culture Office of the City of Zagreb, and Lars Svendsen's visit to Zagreb was co-financed by NORLA and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in the Republic of Croatia.
