Marie-Anne Matard-Bonucci

Marie-Anne Matard-Bonucci teaches contemporary history at the University of Paris and is an active member of several research centers - a researcher at the Center for the History of Political Science and co-chair of GRIC (Groupe de recherche sur l'Italie contemporaine).
Her research into the history of fascism in Sicily resulted in the publication of the book Histoire de la mafia. In collaboration with Marco Lazar, also an expert on contemporary Italian political history, she wrote the book L’Italie des années de plomb. Matard-Bonucci also deals with the issue of anti-Semitism during the twentieth century in France and Italy, and the book L’Italie fasciste et la persécution des juifs is one of several of her works on the subject.
Fascist totalitarianism is the author's first book published in Croatian.
